The purpose of the net is to prepare a group of amateurs who are capable of managing net operations in case of emergencies or disasters. The net also provides a format for licensed operators to check in and make announcements, discuss activities of interest, and provides a meeting place for local amateurs.
All licensed amateurs are welcome to check into the net and you do not have to be a club member to participate.
